Elite Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Flora, MS.
About the role
The Patient Care Coordinator is an entry-level office role responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily clinic operations. This position supports clinic growth through excellence in practice management and patient intake processes, working collaboratively with the Clinic Director.
Responsibilities
- Greet everyone entering the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices.
- Verify insurance coverage for patients.
- Collect patient payments.
- Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits.
- Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and make welcome calls.
- Manage schedule efficiently and monitor clinic inventory.
- Manage document routing, non-clinical documentation, deposits, caseload, discharge candidates, progress notes, and insurance reporting.
- Maintain an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Attend required training with Territory Field Trainers for Raintree and other business process updates.
- Complete quarterly compliance training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and ability to relate well to leadership and team members.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with little to no supervision.
- Efficient time management and presentation skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in multitasking across multiple computer programs.
- Organizational detail and ability to work in a team environment.
- Customer service excellence.
Physical Requirements
- Subject to inside environmental conditions with exposure to indoor noise and temperature changes.
- Primarily sedentary work with constant sitting and ability to interchange with standing as needed.
- Constant communication with associates, requiring clear hearing and speech.
- Frequent operation of computers and office equipment (printers, phones, keyboards, etc.).
- Constant repetitive motions for typing and viewing computer screens (near acuity).
- Occasional walking, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting (0-20 lbs. from floor to waist), and carrying (0-20 lbs.).
- Rarely crawls, crouches, kneels, stoops, climbs stairs or ladders, reaches above shoulder height, or lifts under 10 lbs. from waist to shoulder.

Schedule
Full-time position operating within normal business hours Monday through Friday, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. May require attendance at special events during evenings or weekends, or additional hours as needed.
