Responsibilities

  • Manage treatment coordination and billing with a focus on financial clarity for patients.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, process pre-authorizations, and submit primary/secondary claims.
  • Minimize claim rejections and present clear financial estimates to patients.
  • Maintain flawless accuracy in patient ledger accounting, insurance data entry, and schedule optimization.
  • Build rapport with patients, easing financial anxieties and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on dental office experience, with understanding of dental terminology, clinical procedure codes, and treatment sequencing.
  • Deep familiarity with PPO plans, fee schedules, eligibility verification, pre-authorizations, and claim submissions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a naturally friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in administrative tasks.
  • A steady work history demonstrating commitment, reliability, and career longevity.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; prior proficiency in Dentrix is highly preferred.
