Patient Care Center Specialist

About the role

Mind Health Group is a Michigan-based behavioral health practice focused on providing compassionate, accessible psychiatric and therapy services through telehealth. The Patient Care Center Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring patients have a positive experience and in supporting their care.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Schedule new and existing patient appointments
• Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
• Aid patients with telehealth appointments and basic technical support
• Communicate with providers and internal departments to ensure seamless patient care
• Document interactions accurately within our electronic medical record system
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional, positive, and compassionate phone presence
• Comfortable learning new software and technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous healthcare, medical office, scheduling, or call center experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
