Patient Care Associate-PCA-Cardiac Telemetry- Part Time/Days (24 hrs/wk)

About the role

Join our fast-paced 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit, where we care for patients with STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, CHF, arrhythmias, stroke management, and more. With a supportive nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, PCAs play a vital role in delivering compassionate, top-quality care through teamwork, clear communication, accountability, and mutual respect. Work alongside skilled RNs and LPNs to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness through personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs in electronic medical records
• Assist patients with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport
• Provide clerical support as needed
• Growth Opportunity — Become a Patient Care Technician (PCT): perform PCA duties plus phlebotomy & blood cultures, enteral feeding, wound care, IV and Foley catheter removal, trach care and suctioning

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC certification, or enrollment in a healthcare program
• No prior experience required — full training provided
• Physical ability to lift/push 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical patient care tasks
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
