Patient Care Associate / Patient Care Tech - Neuro Intermediate

Role Overview: Assist in providing individualized patient care under RN or LPN supervision in a busy, team-oriented ICU setting. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical procedures and support tasks essential to patient care.Collaborate with team members to achieve patient wellness goals.Manage therapies such as lumbar drain, external ventricular drain, vasopressors, Bipap, insulin, and Precedex.Participate in cross-training opportunities within ICU and PCU departments. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a healthcare program.No prior experience required; training provided if needed.Certification in BLS within one month of hire and completion of PCA competencies within three months.Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
