About the role
Provide foundational patient care and support in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient hygiene, mobility, and basic care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Measure and record vital signs, monitor patient condition, and report changes to nurses
- Assist with routine procedures, prepare patient rooms, and support physicians and nurses
- Respond to patient and family needs, listen to concerns, and document observations
- Support patients with toileting and repositioning, and deliver meals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for caregiving and supporting others
- Medical terminology knowledge is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (can be obtained after hire)
- Patient care experience preferred but not required
