Patient Care Assistant (Stepdown)

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
• Affords assistance in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures patient safety.
• Engages in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum required, preferred/ desired.
• Education: Minimum required, preferred/ desired.
• Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Licenses: BLS within 14 days of hire.
