Patient Care Assistant (Pre-Op/Post Op)

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.
• Affords assistance in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintains patient safety.
• Engages in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum required, preferred/ desired.
• Education: Minimum required, preferred/ desired.
• Skill: Communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Training: Preferred/ desired.
• Special Skills: Computer literacy.
• Licensure: BLS within 14 days of hire.
