Patient Care Assistant Per Diem

About the role

Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality patient care delivery
• Efficient patient flow
• Effective communication with the health care team
• Integration of patient care standards into all clinical activities

Qualifications

• Education/Training/Experience: Certification (CNA), or 6 mos. previous Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant experience and/or completion of the first quarter of an RN or LVN nursing education program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current C.N.A. certification preferred. Current BLS-HCP.
