About the role

The Patient Care Assistant works in a supporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing duties such as cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living, managing clerical duties and ordering and receiving supplies.

Requirements

• Must provide proof of required degrees, certificates and/or certifications at the time of the interview.
• Candidates unwilling or unable to provide said documentation will not be considered.
• To be considered, candidates must provide documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam, and proof of satisfactory completion of a Medical Assistant degree or Certified Nurses Aide certification.
