Patient Care Assistant - 2 North West Neurosurgery

About the role

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual Patient Care Assistant to work with our team in the 2 North West Neurosurgery Department.

Responsibilities

• Work in a supporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities
• Provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under nursing or medical supervision
• Perform duties including but not limited to cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living, managing clerical duties, and ordering and receiving supplies

Qualifications

• Must provide documentation of an 80% or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam
