About the role

The Patient Care Aide works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Maintain patient care standards
• Work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities
• Adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Requirements

• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required from a state approved program
• Active certification preferred but not required

Qualifications

• High School/GED completion
