About the role
The Patient Care Aide(PCA) works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards.
Qualifications
- Education required: High School or GED completion
- BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period
- Proof of Nursing Assistant (CNA) class completion required from a state approved program
- Active certification preferred but not required
- EMT Certification accepted
