Patient Billing Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Billing Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for driving high-impact initiatives that enhance account growth, retention, and revenue through proactive customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues to ensure account growth and retention
• Effectively respond to all types of customer inquiries via phone, email, and web
• Provide detailed and clear documentation of all communications and follow-up activities
• Contact patients through outbound calling and SMS to address billing concerns
• Contact physicians and other medical personnel to gather necessary information for reimbursement
• Manage a queue of customers requiring contact and follow through on a scheduled cadence until resolved
• Handle 20-30 inbound calls and 40-50 outbound calls per day

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior client-facing experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service
• Experience using Salesforce Advanced
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Fast learner with the ability to navigate complex workflows and technology
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored to different audiences
