About the role

McFarland Clinic is seeking a service-oriented, team-player Patient Attendant for its Ames office. The role focuses on providing extraordinary care to patients every day.

Responsibilities

• Direct and transport patients and visitors to all areas of the clinic.
• Assist patients in transfer from vehicles to wheelchairs or patient carts.
• Provide information on Clinic services and department locations.
• Open doors for all patients and staff when available, in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• On-the-job training provided; previous experience working with the public is helpful.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are required.

Schedule

• Days: Wednesday & Friday
• Hours: Wednesday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Friday Noon - 5:00 PM
