Patient Ambassador, PRN

About the role

The Patient Ambassador supports patient-focused services under the supervision of the Patient Food Services Manager, including food and nutrition, linen, laundry, housekeeping, and supply management. In applicable locations, the Patient Ambassador operates TUG robots for delivering and exchanging supplies and patient meals to the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with food and nutrition services
• Operates TUG robots for supply and meal delivery
• Assists with linen, laundry, and housekeeping services
• Manages supply inventory and distribution

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• An interest in learning new skills and growing in the department

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hospital systems
