Patient Ambassador (Non-Exempt)

About the role

The Patient Ambassador provides patient-focused support services within a multidisciplinary scope, including food and nutrition services, linen, laundry services, housekeeping, and supply management. At applicable locations, the Patient Ambassador operates TUG robots for the delivery and exchange of supplies and patient meals to the nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused support services within a multidisciplinary scope, including food and nutrition services, linen, laundry services, housekeeping, and supply management.
• Operate TUG robots for the delivery and exchange of supplies and patient meals to the nursing unit.
• Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Minimum required: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Interest in learning new skills and growing your role in the department.

Qualifications

• PREFERRED Education: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• Other Skills & Knowledge: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Other Skills & Knowledge: (skills, knowledge, abilities)
• Additional Languages Preferred.
