About the role
The Patient Advocate Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of patient advocates who assist patients with their healthcare needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of patient advocates to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient satisfaction and advocate effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to address patient concerns and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to patient advocates in resolving complex issues.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Patient Care Services, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or patient care services.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
