Responsibilities
- Post payments manually and electronically from commercial carriers, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, personal statements, and other remittance
- Post rejections manually and electronically from commercial carriers, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield and other remittance
- Balance all batches with the deposit logs and reconcile in the Cash Clearing System
- Complete tasks accurately, maintaining quality standards
- Report problems and issues to the Patient Accounts Supervisor
- Report status of all manual, electronic, or zero payment remits daily
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year experience
- Computer literate, including knowledge of Excel
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Accurate 10-keystrokes, by touch
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance
- High level of interaction and teamwork
