Patient Accounts Biller
About the role
Assist patients with billing inquiries and concerns while ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, HIPAA compliance, and claim denial reasons. Collaborate with self-pay vendors and support the Financial Counselor as needed. Handle clinic receipts, including bank deposits and data entry, with precision and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Junior college or vocational school coursework preferred
- Relevant job-related experience considered
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
