PATIENT ACCOUNT REP - INSURANCE

PURPOSE

To identify specific functions job requirements and work environment factors that could affect job performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

• Manage outstanding accounts receivable for clients and/or assigned payers.
• Research and resolution of insurance denials for electronic and paper claims.
• Research, prepare and send appeals for payment to payers.
• Help identify denial trends to prevent loss revenue.
• Apply Credits to appropriate accounts.
• Contact physician offices when appropriate for information or guidance.
• Follow all Policies and Procedures

Job Requirements

• CPC/RHIT certification-preferred
• MEDICAL OFFICE BILLING EXPERIENCE
• PC SKILLS
• EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
• ANALYTICAL ABILITIES
• EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE
