PURPOSE
To identify specific functions job requirements and work environment factors that could affect job performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Manage outstanding accounts receivable for clients and/or assigned payers.
- Research and resolution of insurance denials for electronic and paper claims.
- Research, prepare and send appeals for payment to payers.
- Help identify denial trends to prevent loss revenue.
- Apply Credits to appropriate accounts.
- Contact physician offices when appropriate for information or guidance.
- Follow all Policies and Procedures
Job Requirements
- CPC/RHIT certification-preferred
- MEDICAL OFFICE BILLING EXPERIENCE
- PC SKILLS
- EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
- ANALYTICAL ABILITIES
- EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE
