Patient Account Analyst

This full-time position involves retail sales, assisting patients with supply refills, order intake, data entry, answering phones, coordinating deliveries, and insurance verification. Responsibilities

• Gather and verify patients’ current demographic information, including insurance, treatment diagnosis, and authorizations, then enter into Brightree software and create a sales order.
• Create delivery tickets/pick-up tickets and provide them to delivery technicians to set up delivery/pick-up.
• Answer phone calls and assist clients with questions regarding invoices.
• Complete intake for hospital discharges, physician clinic orders, and walk-ins.
• Maintain working knowledge of equipment and supplies, including answering general questions about operation and use.
• Maintain a working knowledge of insurance coverage and communicate this information to customers, families, or physicians.
• Answer phones with appropriate phone etiquette.
• Schedule deliveries with clients and delivery personnel.
• Perform all sales functions.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed correctly before scanning to the patient chart.
• Organize and maintain all client/patient records and DME files.
• Be willing and able to learn new software systems to streamline business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Proficient in data entry, counter sales, and dealing with the public.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, insurance, and community resources.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
