Primary Responsibilities
- Provides expertise for the implementation, optimization, maintenance and monitoring of Revenue Cycle operational processes.
- Collaborates in system build, testing, workflow analysis, training, onsite support, provider template and protocol management.
- Informs staff of system enhancements, documents trends and reports operational issues.
- Communicates with registration, scheduling, patient care staff and providers.
- Makes regular appearances with leadership and team members for assigned areas of support to discuss, communicate and facilitate forward movement on issues, projects and operations.
Qualifications
- Models and trains exceptional customer service to ensure goals and quality standards are met.
- Trains new hires and existing staff on changes to processes and upgrades related to Epic and frontline workflows.
- Collaborates with operational leadership, training personnel, and reporting personnel to plan, develop, implement and evaluate quality assessment needs.
- Performs functional assessments and time studies of work processes.
- Provides business and clinical operational data to management such as issues tracking, phone reporting, staffing analysis, open encounters and work queues.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
- Able to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- One year experience.
