This position is full time working Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities
- Complete an efficient and organized registration, admission, and insurance verification of all inpatients and outpatients
- Determine patient financial responsibility and make appropriate financial arrangements with patients per hospital policy
- Work in a fast-paced professional environment
- Ensure accurate information is collected while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality
- Ensure patients are aware of their rights as determined by HIPAA regulations and hospital policy
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- At least 6 months of previous customer service experience
Preferred
- At least 6 months of previous customer service experience in an office or medical office environment
- Familiarity with Meditech
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
