About the role

We are seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support a busy physical therapy clinic. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for managing front desk operations, patient registration, scheduling appointments, answering phones, supporting providers, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
  • Complete patient registration and update demographic information
  • Schedule and confirm follow-up appointments
  • Answer inbound phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests
  • Verify insurance information and patient accounts
  • Document and maintain patient information within the EMR system
  • Support providers and clinical staff with administrative requests
  • Manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service
  • Ensure front desk operations run efficiently throughout the day

Requirements

  • Previous front desk, receptionist, or patient service experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare or medical office environment preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills
  • Experience using EMR systems preferred
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

Schedule

Monday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
