Responsibilities
- Greet patients
- Collect demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Process provider requisitions
- Absorb necessary signatures and authorizations
- Resolve registration issues
- Maintain proficiency in software
- Respond to patient inquiries
- Adhere to regulatory standards such as EMTALA and Universal Precautions
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- PREFERRED: Experience in medical records, insurance verification, customer service, or healthcare environments
- Strong Interpersonal, Communication, and Customer Service Skills are essential
