Patient Access Services Supervisor - Orthopedics Northwest
Position Summary
The Supervisor-Access Services is responsible for daily operations (24-hour/7-day) for multiple registration check-in points, and the supervision of staff at multiple locations/areas. The Supervisor implements, communicates, and ensures adherence to department procedures and policies; ensures high-quality service is delivered to patients at registration and the accuracy of patient information; manages staff schedules based on call demand; monitors metrics to ensure consistent service and access in accordance with policy; ensures coordination of services with other departments to promote the highest level of efficiency and patient satisfaction and/or to identify and fix any gaps in registration process and patient’s flow process; oversees patient communications and budgeting and participates in the short- and long-range planning and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Associate degree required, two (2) years of leadership experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
- Two (2) years of experience in Access Services, Hospital Registration or Revenue Cycle field
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisor or lead capacity
- Consideration may be given to internal applicants not meeting the education requirements
