Patient Access Services Representative

About the role

This role involves supporting inpatient and outpatient access by performing registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing duties. The Outreach Associate is responsible for engaging eligible patients/members through proactive outreach, education, and relationship building to facilitate enrollment into Health Management programs. They identify eligible individuals, explain program benefits, and assist with enrollment to ensure appropriate care coordination. The position emphasizes high-quality patient engagement, accurate eligibility screening, and timely documentation to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging diverse populations
• Experience with electronic health records or CRM platforms is a plus
