You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led team that works as one and puts patients at the center of everything we do. With a connected network of providers, care teams, and services across primary and specialty care, surgery centers, imaging, lab, and therapy, you are part of a system designed to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families in a professional, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
- Register patients and accurately collect demographic, insurance, and financial information.
- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and diagnostic services as needed.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations when applicable.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, registration, and general questions.
- Collect copayments and process patient payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record.
- Coincordinate communication between patients, providers, nursing staff, and other departments to support efficient clinic operations.
- Assist with front office workflow to ensure a positive patient experience during periods of high patient volume.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support pediatric clinic operations.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous customer service, medical office, healthcare, or administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills are required.
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
- Weekend availability is required.
