Patient Access Representative - MRI - PRN

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented MRI Patient Access Representative to support daily front desk operations for our imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule MRI, CT, follow-up, and X-ray-only appointments as needed.
• Absorb and assist patients with registration, paperwork, appointment questions, and check-in support.
• Cook up interpretation services when needed to support patient care.
• Verify insurance authorizations and follow up as needed to help patients access care in a timely manner.
• Create patient estimates and explain benefit information clearly and professionally.
• Collect patient balances before or at the time of service.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers through prompt response and courteous communication within 24 hours of the request.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of medical office or customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, especially EPIC, is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements is a plus.
• Strong computer, communication, interpersonal, hospitality, and customer service skills are essential.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, remain calm under pressure, and work with minimal supervision is important.
• The ability to work at any of the Panorama Orthopedic and Spine Center locations is required.

Pay

$18-$21/hour, based on experience.
