Patient Access Representative II, Baptist Medical Group, Baptist Southbank

This is a full-time day shift position in a call center environment at our Southbank Plaza location in Jacksonville, FL, Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Registering patients accurately and efficiently
- Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces
- Cross-trained to work in multiple patient access areas
- Maintaining service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic patient encounters
- Contributing to Patient Access Services (PAS) goals as defined annually (e.g., Collections, Palm Scanning)
- Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
- Maintaining professional relationships with all clinical and non-clinical team members
- Articulating compliance documentation and ensuring completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
- 1-2 years of customer service experience (required)
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience (preferred)
- 1-2 years of insurance experience (preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma (required)

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
