Patient Access Representative (Full-time, Variable Shift)

The role involves timely and accurate patient registration, including interviewing patients, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liabilities, and obtaining necessary signatures for treatment. Responsibilities include checking physician orders and attaching them to patient recordsaccurately verifying insurance and entering authorization informationexplaining policies and assisting patients as neededprinting and distributing paperwork and escorting patients to designated areas Qualifications and skills include a high school diploma or GED (preferred)associate’s/technical degree or related experience (preferred)attention to detail in verifying insurance and documentationability to follow guidelines and instructions from senior staff Key duties involve ensuring proper documentation, adherence to policies, and supporting patient flow within the healthcare setting.
