Patient Access Representative (FTE, Evening, OR)

Responsibilities
- Interview patients for all pertinent account information.
- Verify all insurance and calculate and collect patient liability amounts.
- Ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatment.
- Answer questions and explain policies clearly.
- Check for physician orders and attach them to the appropriate patient record to ensure the correct test is received.
- Print and collate any paperwork needed for each patient for distribution to the unit/department.
- Escort patients to their area or refer patient to an available escort as needed.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $18.04 to $27.04 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
