As a Patient Access Representative, You’ll Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient patient registration Accurately register patients for Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient, Surgical, and Specialty ServicesGather necessary data, enter appropriate data into computer-Epic, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and appropriately signed by patient in order to register and admit patient for inpatient or outpatient services. Verify patient demographics and insurance eligibility, obtain required authorizations and signatures, collect applicable payments, and maintain compliance Provide patients with information on physicians, directions to locations, required pre-testing, educational materials, and any other items prior to service What You’ll Bring 1+ years of experience in medical office, hospital, medical call center or other customer service environmentEPIC experience highly preferredKnowledge of health insurance concepts preferredHigh school diploma or GED Strong attention to detail with exceptional data entry accuracyHigh level of professionalismPassion for helping others Ability to think quickly and problem solve Apply
