About the Role

The Patient Access Optimization Analyst configures and provides functional and technical support for access optimization initiatives. This role assists with the analysis, solutioning, documentation, and implementation of Epic-build related functions. This is a remote position with working hours in the Central time zone (8 AM – 5 PM).

Pay

The pay range for this position is $35.44/hour (entry-level qualifications) to $54.94/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate information professionally and formally to stakeholders through meetings and written presentations.
  • Manage small to medium projects to ensure successful implementation and engagement.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, research, and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
  • Successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.
  • Work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interact effectively with people at all organizational levels and build strong relationships.
  • Work through complex business problems using a consultative approach.
  • Convert raw data into actionable business insights using exceptional data and modeling skills.
  • Apply knowledge of healthcare industry trends and their drivers.
  • Work in a dynamic setting and perform well under pressure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
  • 5 years of experience working in Epic strongly preferred
  • Ambulatory and/or Surgery scheduling experience required
  • Epic Cadence Certified strongly preferred
  • Epic Cadence Provider template management and build experience strongly preferred
  • EPIC Decision Tree Badge strongly preferred
  • Decision tree design, documentation, and maintenance experience strongly preferred
  • ServiceNow experience preferred
  • Experienced proficiency in Excel and SQL preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistics (including modeling techniques) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and analyze complex technical solutions
