About the role

Patient Access Manager responsible for maximizing utilization of resources, training and orienting department staff, developing systems for accurate registration and data collection, and resolving patient inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maximizing utilization of resources.
• Provides training, orientation, and education of department staff to maintain competency and meet changes in healthcare reimbursement.
• Assists with development and maintenance of a system to ensure timely and accurate registration and data collection.
• Responds to written and verbal inquiries or complaints from patients to ensure expedient and tactful resolutions.
• Performs all other duties required by Senior Management.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Excellent computer and keyboard skills with appropriate applications.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate effectively.
• NIMS training within 3 months of hire.
• COAP training within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two (2) years hospital Patient Access, Business Services, or related experience.
• TruBridge and/or CPI experience preferred.
