Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate automation-generated outputs across pre-registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and intake workflows, identifying errors and delivering structured, actionable feedback for training datasets
  • Audit front-end revenue cycle processes end-to-end from demographic capture and point-of-service collections through to clean claim submission, flagging deficiencies and recommending corrective logic
  • Review and annotate workflow documentation, registration policies, and payer-specific procedures to ensure outputs align with HIPAA, CMS, and commercial payer requirements
  • Monitor and critique KPI frameworks covering registration error rates, pre-registration completion, insurance verification accuracy, and front-end denial rates
  • Develop and refine SOPs, compliance guidelines, and training materials applicable to registration accuracy and point-of-service collections in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Document observations systematically and produce clear, structured feedback reports to inform model improvement cycles

Core Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership in patient access or front-end revenue cycle management, including director or manager-level accountability for registration operations
  • Deep technical knowledge of pre-registration, insurance verification, scheduling intake, and point-of-service collections across inpatient and outpatient environments
  • Proficiency with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or comparable EHR and patient registration platforms
  • Working command of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and both commercial and government payer requirements at the point of service
  • Prior exposure to LLM-based tools or structured annotation workflows in a healthcare or revenue cycle context
  • Proven ability to identify workflow inconsistencies, data errors, and process gaps with a high-precision, detail-oriented approach to documentation
  • Exceptional written communication skills; able to produce clear, structured analytical feedback independently in a fully remote environment

Additional Strengths

  • NAHAM CHAM or CHAA credential, or equivalent patient access certification
  • Prior exposure to denial prevention strategy applied at the point of registration, with measurable impact on front-end denial rates
