Patient Access Associate - Outpatient Rehab & Imaging, Full-Time, 6:45A-3:15P

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely processing.
• Address patient questions or concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, financial assistance, and revenue cycle operations.
• Practice service excellence by providing professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, families, staff, physicians, and community members.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma, GED, certification, or relevant experience.
• Must complete and pass Patient Access training.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Perform basic math and be detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
• Preferred: Experience with computer applications and EMR systems.
• Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole.
• Preferred: Knowledge of regulatory guidelines like HIPAA, EMTALA, and Medicare.
