Pathology Clinical Operations (Faculty Clinician)

Position Highlights

General surgical pathology with light call responsibilities
No autopsies
Case mix includes approximately 7,500 surgical cases and 500 cytology cases annually
Strong on-site support, including a Pathologists’ Assistant and administrative staff
All grossing, histology, and immunohistochemistry performed on-site
Subspecialty sign-out support for hematopathology and bone marrows
Access to a broad network of subspecialty consultants across Baylor Medicine

Minimum Qualifications

• AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Open to both experienced pathologists and new graduates
