Professor Clinical Practice, Pathology Faculty

Essential Job Functions

• Provide coverage in clinical microbiology by overseeing the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory (CML) on campus.
• Lead clinical research initiatives focused on diagnostic assay development.
• Provide expert diagnostic consultation to physicians to support accurate and timely clinical decision-making.
• Teach residents, fellows, medical students, PAs and PA students at multiple campuses (Galveston, Clear Lake, League City and Angleton Danbury).

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, PhD or MD/PhD

Prior Experience/Preferred Qualifications

• Education/Experience in Biology and/or Microbiology.

Salary

Commensurate with experience.
