Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex patent infringement and trade secret litigation matters
• Manage case development through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions and assist with witness preparation
• Work closely with technical experts and consultants on highly specialized matters
• Analyze technical and scientific concepts and effectively present them in litigation settings
• Develop litigation strategies and support trial teams in federal and state courts
• Collaborate with partners and clients on case management and business objectives
• Assist with PTAB proceedings and Federal Circuit matters, where applicable
• Participate in client counseling and business development initiatives

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Approximately 3+ years of patent litigation and/or trade secret litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage substantive litigation responsibilities
• Admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Experience handling sophisticated litigation matters preferred

Pay

$260,000 - $390,000 per year
