About the role
We are looking for a Patent Attorney with 5+ years of preparation and prosecution experience to work in the Tucson, Arizona location. The ideal candidate is registered with the USPTO and holds a Ph.D in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field of study.

At least 5 years of experience with:
- Global patent prosecution and portfolio management
- Freedom to operate
- Licensing and other technology transactions
- IP due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions
This position is available for high-performing attorneys who would like to be promoted to a partnership-track position.
Requirements
- Registered with the USPTO
- Ph.D in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of preparation and prosecution experience

Pay
Pay range is $150,000 – $180,000 with bonus opportunities. A sign-on bonus is available for on-site work. In determining your pay, we will consider your experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Full-time, exempt position with a billable hours requirement of 1,450 hours per year.
