Patent Attorney Associate (2+ years): Multiple Locations Available
About the role
Holland & Hart is seeking experienced patent attorneys to join its dynamic electronics and computer patent practice. This practice helps some of the world's leading technology companies protect and position their innovations.
Responsibilities
- Engage in patent preparation/prosecution work
- Experience in Wireless telecommunications systems, standards-related technologies, communication networks, electrical hardware and software, computer networks, semiconductors, storage devices, circuits, memory, cloud computing, data security, or wearable technology preferred
- Strong academic record with a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent fields
- Practitioner with a growth mindset and enjoyment of innovative culture on cutting-edge technology
Requirements
- Currently engaged in patent preparation/prosecution work
- Has 2+ years of recent experience in patent preparation
- Strong academic record with a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent fields
- Practitioner with a growth mindset and enjoyment of innovative culture on cutting-edge technology
Qualifications

Benefits
- Colorado Equal Pay Act compliant salary range: $195,000 - $250,000
- Bonus program rewarding financial contributions and hard work
- Fee splits for exceptional performance
- 1800 billable hours per year
- 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work)

Pay
Compensation is merit-based, evaluated on individual performance and contributions to the team.
