Patent Admin

The Opportunity

This is an onsite position based in our Plymouth or St. Paul, MN locations within the GENC General Counsel division. The Patent Admin reports to an Attorney.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and/or relevant legal education required.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant administrative experience.
• Must have strong communication and writing skills.
• Must have excellent computer skills including experience with document creation and presentation software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat).
• Must be able to work under pressure and work in a team environment requiring collaboration and communication with prioritization and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Legal and/or patent experience preferred.
• Prioritize experience with patent management software and use of USPTO websites.
• Prior database administration and/or docketing and filing experience.
