Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop and execute an exceptional pastry program.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day pastry operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and mentor pastry team members to foster growth and maintain standards.
  • Contribute to seasonal menu development and innovative dessert concepts.
  • Oversight of inventory, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale or fine-dining setting.
  • Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation.
  • Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
