Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop and execute an exceptional pastry program.
- Assist in managing day-to-day pastry operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise and mentor pastry team members to foster growth and maintain standards.
- Contribute to seasonal menu development and innovative dessert concepts.
- Oversight of inventory, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale or fine-dining setting.
- Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
