Responsibilities
- Assist pastry production team, chefs, and cooks with mixing pastry products, plating cold meals such as fruit salads and pastries.
- Use knife skills for cutting and peeling fruit.
- Perform tasks in different stations such as (Fruit cutting station, economy packing station, juice station, basket station, assembling and plating food etc.).
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
- Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
- Keep immediate work area clean at all times and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Able to manage through a substantial workload.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
- Able to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
