Join us at one of our production bakeries (Central Bakery & Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Bakeshop) where exceptional ingredients and imaginative cuisine come together to create unforgettable dining experiences. Our Bakeshop at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa supports our hotel banquet special events and award-winning fine dining restaurant, Napa Rose.

Responsibilities

• Delight our Guests with food for an unforgettable Disney culinary experience
• Work in a dynamic, lively, and high-volume environment that celebrates innovation and excellence
• Collaborate with renowned Disney Pastry Chefs
• Provide excellent guest service and be part of a team
• Multi-task and work in a high-volume environment
• Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong experience with cakes, plated desserts, and working in a banquet and restaurant environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field/restaurants, or culinary degree and equivalent experience with a focus on high-volume production
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
• Strong organizational skills, working with speed, accuracy, and efficiency in the kitchen
• Strong piping skills
• Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

• Passion for Pastry & Baking
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong listening skills and ability to take direction
• Ability to follow and understand recipes in a mass volume environment
• Desire to provide excellent guest service

Skills

Pay

The pay rate for this role in California is $28.00 per hour.

• SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
