Pastry Cook

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares pastry and bakery items.
• Works dessert buffet stations and banquet plate ups.
• Follows recipes, assists in the development of new recipes.
• Fulfills prep list.
• Ensures all products are fresh before serving.
• Maintains neat, organized, and rotated cooler and storage areas.
• Maintains highest sanitary conditions.
• Maintains safe and secure work areas; reports any unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior pastry/bakery experience.
• Previous experience in a high volume quality kitchen.
• Team player, self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
