About the role
The Chop House, a Mainstreet Ventures restaurant, seeks to provide memorable dining experiences through high-quality cuisine. We are currently hiring full-time and part-time positions for Pastry Cooks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts according to recipes and under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health department regulations.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with other kitchen staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid food handler’s permit.
Skills
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Team player with strong organizational skills.
